What lime does in construction & infrastructure

Lime stabilisation turns marginal soil into a workable, load-bearing sub-grade — which is why it sits under so much of India's road programme. Hydrated lime also goes into mortars and plasters, where it brings workability and long-term durability that cement alone does not.

What decides the grade and the price

01Quantity per consignment and how often — a one-off lot and a monthly contract are priced differently.
02The form that suits your intake: lumps, a ground powder or hydrated lime, and the size fraction your feed system takes.
03The parameters that matter for the duty — for a flux it is CaO and reactivity; for dosing it is particle size and available lime.
04Packing for the journey and the storage at your end: bags, jumbo bags or bulk.
05Delivery point and the dates material is needed on site, so transport is priced to the door.
