Lime Buyer Support & Fraud Guidance — Borunda & Gotan
Practical steps for buyers of quick lime and hydrated lime who suspect a scam, a diverted payment, an impersonated supplier, a non-delivery or a dispute. From a private manufacturer — not a police service, a government helpline, an emergency service, legal representation or a recovery service.
What this page is
Deshwali Minerals makes and sells lime at Borunda. Over the years buyers have asked us the same questions after something went wrong on a lime deal — often one that had nothing to do with us. This page is the answer we give: how to check a seller before paying, what to keep, what to do in the first hours after a suspected fraud, and where the official reporting channels are.
It is guidance, not a service. We cannot investigate, recover money, freeze an account or represent you. Those things are done by your bank, the police and the courts, through the channels linked below.
Fraud, or a dispute?
Not every disagreement is a fraud, and calling it one does not help. A late truck, a short weight on the bridge, a test result outside the band, an invoice you do not agree with — these are disputes, settled on the documents with a real counterparty.
Fraud is deception for gain: a payment steered to a stranger's account, a seller who does not exist, someone trading under another firm's name, material that was never going to be dispatched. The first needs a conversation and, if that fails, a notice. The second needs your bank and the police, today.
Handling a disputed consignmentSix checks that take an hour and save a consignment
Most losses on lime deals happen before the first payment, not after. These checks are ordinary commercial care; a genuine seller expects them.
Check the firm's identity
Ask for the registered firm name, the GSTIN and the plant or office address, and check that they match each other and the quotation. A kiln has a place; ask where it is and whether you can visit.
Verify the GSTIN
Look the number up on the GST portal's Search Taxpayer tool. The legal name, state and status it returns should match the firm on the quotation. A GSTIN that returns a different name, or is cancelled, is a stop sign.
Read the quotation
A genuine quotation names the product and grade, the quantity, the rate basis (ex-works or delivered), GST, packing, the delivery point, validity and payment terms. A price with none of that is a message, not an offer.
Match the beneficiary account name
The bank account you pay into should be in the firm's name, not an individual's. Most banking apps show the beneficiary name when you add a payee; compare it with the quotation and the GST record before the first rupee moves.
Confirm changed instructions on a known number
If an account number changes by WhatsApp, e-mail or a call, do not act on the message. Ring a number you already had for the firm — from its website or an earlier invoice, never from the message itself — and confirm the change by voice.
Pay in proportion to trust
An advance against a first consignment from an unknown firm is where most losses sit. A smaller trial order, payment against dispatch documents, or a bank instrument are all ordinary asks. A seller who will only take full advance to a personal account is telling you something.
If someone says they are Deshwali Minerals: our registered GSTIN is 08NLIPS9801K1Z5, our numbers are the ones on this website, and our quotations carry a DM-Q reference you can quote back to us. If a message gives different bank details, different numbers or a different name, call +91 88750 20202 before paying anything. See our registrations.
The file that settles it
A dispute is decided on paper, and a fraud report is only as good as the references in it. Keep these from the first message, not after the problem.
- 01Every quotation and proforma invoice, with the date it was received and the number it came from
- 02Tax invoices, e-way bills, weighbridge slips and the transporter's consignment note (LR / GR)
- 03Payment references: UTR numbers, cheque numbers, the beneficiary name and account shown by your bank
- 04WhatsApp chats, e-mails and SMS — exported, with dates, not screenshots alone
- 05Test certificates and your own laboratory results, with the lot number they refer to
- 06A short written timeline you keep from the first contact: who said what, when, on which number
The first day, in order
Speed matters more than certainty. A bank can hold money that is still in the receiving account; it cannot bring back money that has been moved on.
- 1
Call your bank first
Tell them the transaction is fraudulent and ask them to raise a recall or hold on the beneficiary account. The sooner the bank hears, the better the chance the money is still there. Note the complaint number they give you.
- 2
Report it on 1930 or cybercrime.gov.in
The national cyber fraud helpline and portal are run by the Ministry of Home Affairs' Indian Cybercrime Coordination Centre. A report there can lead to the money being frozen in the receiving account. Have the UTR, amount, date, beneficiary details and the phone numbers used ready.
- 3
Preserve everything, change nothing
Do not delete chats, do not reply to threats, do not send a second payment to "release" the first. Export the conversation and keep the originals.
- 4
Write to the counterparty once
A short, dated written notice stating what was paid, what was promised and what you require, sent to the address on the quotation. Keep a copy. It separates a dispute from a fraud: a real firm answers.
- 5
File with the police
For a loss, go to the police station with jurisdiction over where you are or where the transaction took place, with the documents above. Rajasthan Police's citizen portal lists its online services; a complaint about a crime is still registered at a police station.
- 6
Then contact us, if we can help
If the transaction involved lime from Borunda or Gotan, or someone used our name, tell us through the form below. We can say whether a quotation or a person was ours, and point you to the right next step. We cannot recover money, investigate or represent you.
Where a complaint is actually filed
Each link below was checked against an official government source on 20 October 2026. Telephone numbers are shown only where an official source states them; where we could not verify one, it is not listed.

Prefer to call?
Our office numbers, answered during working hours. These are the company's ordinary lines, not a helpline, and not staffed around the clock.
What we will not ask for
Passwords, OTPs, card numbers, PINs or your full bank account number — never, on any channel. We do not need documents uploaded here; if a copy of an invoice or a chat helps, we will ask for it on the call. Nothing you send is published, shared with a third party or used for marketing.
Four things to be clear about
- Is Deshwali Minerals a fraud helpline?
- No. Deshwali Minerals is a private lime manufacturer at Borunda, Rajasthan. This page is practical guidance for buyers; the form reaches our office, not the police, a bank or a court. Report a crime through the official channels listed on the page.
- Will you recover my money?
- No. We cannot recover money, investigate a firm or represent you. We can tell you whether a quotation, a number or a person was ours, and point you to the right official channel.
- Is every late delivery or short weight a fraud?
- No. Most commercial disagreements are disputes to be settled on the documents — the quotation, the invoice, the weighbridge slip and the test certificate. Fraud is deception for gain: a payment diverted to a stranger's account, a firm that does not exist, an impersonated seller. The steps on this page keep the two apart.
- Do you publish complaints or name firms?
- No. Nothing sent through this page is published, and this site does not accuse any named firm or person. Requests are read by a small number of staff under a permission of their own.
